Integração entre gestão e educação ambiental na Escola de Ensino Básico Getúlio Vargas
Abstract
Este projeto trata de uma experiência inovadora na área da educação ambiental, na qual se buscou uma coerência entre a proposta de sustentabilidade apresentada nas aulas, e a prática observada no dia-a-dia dos alunos, professores e funcionários da Escola de Ensino Básico Getúlio Vargas. As correntes pedagógicas que orientaram os rumos do projeto abordam uma visão sistêmica e convergem no que hoje é chamado de alfabetização ecológica ou ecoalfabetização. Utilizando tecnologias sociais na gestão ambiental, tais como a captação de água da chuva, procurou-se restaurar habitats, capacitar agentes do processo, potencializar os recursos naturais e incentivar a incorporação dos conceitos ecológicos, formando espaços mais agradáveis, eficientes e convidativos para todos.
