Resumen

This work describes the relations and situations experienced by patients with dyslipidemia of Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), evidencing the importance of play to care for nutritional status, in a manner consistent with the expectations and needs of each individual. Within this perspective, there was a nutritional monitoring of patients who participated in the Center for Interdisciplinary Research and Assistance to Dyslipidemia of University Hospital (NIPEAD-HU-UFSC), interfering in a positive way of life to them, reinforcing the importance of nutritional counseling as measure of prevention of cardiovascular diseases.
