NUTRITIONAL ASSESSMENT OF WOMEN WITH BREAST CANCER ATTENDED AT CARMELA DUTRA MATERNITY

Resumen

This work objectified to carry through evaluation and food and nutritional education of women with breast cancer. In 2006, this study had been taken care of 20 women with breast cancer, with age between 33 and 65 years, whom 60% were above of the ideal weight. The patients consumed weekly meats with fat and some fruits of the time, as orange, banana and tangerine. Through with the continuity of this nutritional orientation and education this study intend to contribute for a better life quality, lower incidence and recurrence of the breast cancer women.
