ESTUDY ON AGRIBUSINESS COMPANY OF THE MUNICIPI OF SOMBRIO –SC

Resumen

The study was conducted in order to boost the agribusiness sector of the city of Sombrio. Exploratory research was conducted with data collection and interpretation quantitatively and qualitatively, through the sampling of fifteen agricultural industries organized into groups of crafts; forestry, dairy/starches; processing of vegetables and meats. The producer members represented 6%, where 27% of these are inserted to COOPERSOMBRIO. The representative producer not associated was 67%, where 27% are open to association. The family labor is used in 93% of agro-industries, hiring outsourced labor also occurs in 50% of agro-industries. The training was affirmed as an impediment to growth in 86.6% of agribusinesses. The meeting was unanimous in the development of activity, where 60% say the co-commercialization, 35% and 5% achievement professional management of production. To improve the production unit was pointed out the outreach/marketing (23.07%), finance (23.07%), infrastructure (19.23%); qualification (19.23%), technical assistance (11.53%) and control/taxation (7.69%). In view of agribusinesses public agencies should consider to improve the dissemination activity/marketing (28.57%), infrastructure (23.8%), Finance (19.04%); qualification (14.28 %), marketing (9.52%), research (4.76%). The COOPERSOMBRIO showed difficulties in physical space, access for client, in little visibility of products, in lack of marketing and in lack of the financial resources. The actions demonstrate the path to the association by the insertion of agribusiness in COOPERSOMBRIO inserting projects qualification in management, training and technical assistance employed by EPAGRI and Secretary of Agriculture.
