Abstract

Goal: Propose a relationship between technology transfer and innovative business modeling in Brazilian startups.


Design½Methodology½Approach: From the point of view of its nature, this research has an applied approach, the way of approaching the quali-quantitative problem, as to its exploratory objectives, technical procedures, documentary, and research (survey). To relate technology transfer and innovative business model, a Systematic Literature review was carried out; carried out an exploratory search of the technology transfer and business model components; and finally, a validation of the components for the relationship between innovative business models and technology transfer.


Resuls: development of a relationship assessment model, determining very weak, weak, medium, strong and very strong intensity levels. Sixty-three analyzes of the relationship between the business model components and the technology download components in 20 startups were evaluated.


Originality½Value: this study is original, there is no need to assess the relationship between TT and innovative business models, which contributes for being an instrument to assess commercial transactions between companies, it contributes scientifically due to the fact that no comparative research was found to this, enabling the development of new researches on inter-enterprise technology transfer. It contributes to society, as this theme will promote the largest companies in the market, promoting the preservation of operating companies, which sustains the employability of employees.
