Revision on carbon sequestration by microalgae and forests and the production of lipids for the microalgae
Abstract
The rise of the average temperature of the planet, that is, the increase of the effect greenhouse, is resultant of the accumulation of gases capable to hold back heat. One of the main gases of effect greenhouse (GEE) it is the carbon dioxide (CO2), resultant of the process of decomposition of the organic substance and all and any process of combustion. According to specialists, the increase of the effect greenhouse can cause serious climatic alterations and, with this, ambient, therefore, they have searched to stimulate the carbon kidnapping. To kidnap carbon has as meant to adopt measured that they aim at to the absorption of the CO2 excess of the atmosphere, fixing it, preferential in the organic form. Although the carbon setting is carried through by all the photosynthetics beings is, in the oceans, that if of the one in bigger intensity. Therefore, the objective of this revision was to search to make a survey on the capacity of carbon kidnapping for microalgae, as much of water marine environment candy how much, comparing it with the forests, also attempting against to its potential of production of lipids, a time that, has great concern in finding sources potential to produce biodiesel, aiming at to minimize the fossils fuel use, trying with this to reduce the CO2 emissions.Downloads
