Taxonomic notes in <I>Leandra raddi</I> (Melastomataceae)

Abstract

Some comments and new synonyms to L. carassana (DC.) Cogn. (section Carassanae) and L. glazioviana Cogn. (section Leandraria) are presented, as well as a new combination - L. euphorbioides (Naudin) D'El Rei Souza & Baumgratz (section Chaetodon). The geographic distributions of the genus Leandra and L. xanthostachya Cogn. are reviewed, and the occurrence of this species in south Brazil is pointed out for the first time.
