Obtenção de sementes de <I>Enterolobium contortisiliquum</I> (Vellozo) Morong a partir da Trilha mecânica de frutos provenientes de cinco árvores

Resumen

Fruits of Enterolobiurn contortisiliquum (VELLOZO) MORONG (timbativa) were collected from five different trees in the state of Santa Catarina: A- 1 (originating in Apitina), SMO-2, SMO-3, SMO-5 and SMO-8 (originating in Säo Miguel do Oeste). These fruits were submitted to mechanical thrashing whit one small thrasher (thrasher for experiment plot), and theevalueted the efficiency of this method, as well as characteristics of fruits and seeds. The method applied as above was efficient and rapid, showing that thrashing whit two times, them putting this thrashed material into the water and cleaning manually is possible to obtain 94,5% of seeds. To emphasize that differences existent betWeem fruits characteristics of different trees, especially the maturation stage, affect this proceding.
