From <i>feuilleton</i> to chronicle: frontier genres between the book and the newspaper

Abstract

The author proposes to bring up a pioneer instant of journal’s mobile and public body experimentation through feuilleton and chronicle by the turning from 19th to 20th century. These crossings elucidate some new perceptions of that time imaginary, here subscribed by the experiences of fragmentation, movement, shock and collectivization of the social and cultural body, reflected in the modern and reproducible form of journal.

Jeana Laura da Cunha Santos

Possui graduação em Comunicação Social - Habilitação em Jornalismo pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (1993), mestrado em Literatura pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (1997) e doutorado em Literatura pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (2002). Exerceu a docência na Faculdade Estácio de Sá de Santa Catarina e na Unisul/SC, atuando, ainda, como professora substituta junto à Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina. Tem experiência em Jornalismo e na área de Letras, com ênfase em Teoria Literária, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: jornalismo, crônicas, Machado de Assis, literatura e cinema.
