Abstract

 

Este estudo trata do processamento cognitivo que a audiência realiza do noticiário. Denomina-se de Leitura Espelhada a propriedade de inferir do dito algo que é o inverso do comunicado. Surge por decorrência na audiência a pulsão, a sensação de lacuna que demanda ser preenchida. Considerando o fato de que o jornalismo é por natureza comunicação dissidente e tem vocação distópica conclui-se que o público é fustigado constantemente por uma sensação de incompletude. Este é, por decorrência, o principal impacto do noticiário no clima de opinião pública.
