Trans identities have gained greater social visibility in recent years. In the media products, these experiences also began to have more amplitude and problematizations. In this paper, we analyze the reception of trans people from the serie Who Am I?, screened by Rede Globo on the TV show Fantástico, in 2017, whose theme was trans identities. With the theoretical premises of cultural and queer studies and using virtual ethnography, we seek to understand the senses produced by trans people, from comments in the videos of the series, made available on the page of the program on Facebook. In our analysis, we see the commitment of trans people to demystify prejudices and the celebration of visibility, seen as a possibility of hope for a life with less discrimination.Downloads
