The ecology of the audiovisual in multiplatform environments

Abstract

This study consists of analyzing how digital applications have reconfigured the audiovisual memory filing system, whose access is instantaneous, mobile and multiplatform. In this new media ecology scenario, the Globoplay application presents itself as a new place in television memory, strengthening the link between viewers / users in times of technological convergence and mobility. The methodology has a qualitative nature and goes through an exploratory study on Globoplay application, identifying the new processes of construction of television memory and the interaction in multiplatform environments with the viewer / user. It is understood that, in this new audiovisual media ecology, there is a construction of new places of memory in digital environments, which expands the presence of TV in multiplatform environments in a fragmented way.
