Abstract

This article presents the national policy of Education as an object of study according to the human emancipation of the population of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transvestite, Transsexual and Transgender (LGBT). The central objective is to highlight the paths/dead ends to a national education policy focused on the human emancipation of this segment. A qualitative approach was used with descriptive, explanatory and exploratory research, leading to the decomposition of this research into three sections whose discussions surround the proposed objective. It was possible to verify that the process of dehumanization, rooted because of the logic of capital, nowadays reflects the non-nourishment of an emancipatory perspective in Brazilian education, since the pillars of such logic do not accept a transformation of objective and concrete reality.
