Contributions for the supervision of social programs with a focus on the family

Abstract

This article explores the following factors of intervention: the professional composition of the social programs aimed at families, the new focus on the family in social policies and supervision by multi-disciplinary teams. It is based on an analysis of recent federal programs: the Integral Family Attention Program and the Family Health Program. It reviews the supervision without presenting a strictly theoretical approach or a list of field procedures. The family is considered as a social institution undergoing a permanent change of formats and meanings that require reflection and the continuous education of social professionals.

Carlos Eduardo Aguilera Campos, UFRJ - Rio de Janeiro - RJ

Possui graduação em Medicina pela UFRJ, mestrado em Saúde Pública pela Escola Nacional de Saúde Pública e doutorado em Medicina (Medicina Preventiva) pela USP. Atualmente é professor adjunto da UFRJ e coordenador de Saúde Coletiva da UGF, membro da diretoria da Sociedade Brasileira de Medicina de Família e Comunidade e editor da Revista Brasileira de Medicina de Família e Comunidade. Tem experiência na área de Medicina Preventiva com ênfase em Atenção Primária à Saúde, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: medicina de família, saúde da família, qualidade em APS, vigilância em saúde, programação em saúde, políticas de saúde.

Joana Angélica Barbosa Garcia, UFRJ - Rio de Janeiro - RJ

Doutora em Serviço Social pela UFRJ. Realizou entre agosto de 2005 e julho de 2006 estágio pós-doutoral no Social Work and Social Policy Department da Oxford University, Inglaterra. Desde 1994 é docente e pesquisadora da UFRJ. Tem experiência de pesquisa nos seguintes temas: responsabilidade social das empresas, família, cidadania, política de infância e juventude.
