Capital control of labor and ICTs

This article aims to analyze the relationship between control and technology in contemporary times, especially in terms of information and communication technologies/ICTs. To this end, we started with bibliographical research in the light of the Marxist tradition. The first part discusses the relationship between technology and control within the framework of capital, pointing out the increasingly destructive nature of technology as capital becomes increasingly uncontrollable in the face of the structural crisis. The second part argues about the development of ICTs and the new forms of control that emerge as a result of their deployment. We conclude that ICTs bring to light new forms of control that are functional to capital in a crisis scenario, revealing new challenges for the working class.
