The present article concerns the conversations among volunteers who work with "Grupos de Convivência de Idosos" (Groups of Companion-ship among Senior Citizens). It is characterized as a qualitative kind of research, built up through meetings among the volunteers, promoted by governmental and non-governmental organizations. Dialogue is utilized in the meetings, seeking to build a polyphony of enunciative meanings, building an inter-subjective knowledge regarding the theme of the Third Age and fostering a capability for a more conscious and democratic action.Downloads
