Family´s health: possibilities and limits of the feasibility of the PSF (Family Health Program) in Monte Cristo

Abstract

This paper is part of a monograph developed in the Course of Social Work. It aims to analyse the implementation process of to the Family Health Program (PSF) in Monte Cristo — Florianópolis, in the period 1996-1998. It presents some consideration about the research results that show the possibilities and limits to build a new social assistance model. The analysis point out the obstacles to implement the PSF proposal and also some changes observed after the introduction of the program.

Possui graduação em Serviço Social pela UFSC (1998) e graduação em Pedagogia pela UNIVALE (1989). Mestrado em Saúde Pública pela UFSC/SC (2007). Atualmente é estatutário - Secretaria de Estado da Saúde de SC, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: Formação e Desenvolvimento de Recursos Humanos em Saúde, Políticas de Saúde, SUS, Controle Social e Planejamento e Avaliação em Saúde.
