An organizational experience
Abstract
This article briefly reports the experiences of a non-profitable philanthropic institution – Irmandade do Divino Espírito Santo (IDES) – located in Florianópolis, capital of Santa Catarina state. Throughout its 228 years of existence, IDES has been focusing on social and community work. However, from the 1990´s on, the organization has undergone a restructuring process, aiming at its sustainability and adaptability so as to ensure continuity of its work in a more efficient and effective way.Downloads
