Abstract

The differences that promote distinctions and classifications are the structures for the object of reflection of this text, which is the fact of “being equal” or “not equal” in the present days, i.e., the social exclusion phenomenon or the social question as classified by some authors. What one intends is the rescue of certain aspects that should be considered when one reflects about the equality/inequality question and the contemporary expressions it assumes, specially the way it has been retrieved both in the ethic-political and socio-cultural aspects.
