Mercosul and the State Reform: implications in the public policies

Abstract

 

This article aims to identify the main consequences of the State Reform occurring in Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay for the policies of the "Previdência Social" (Social Welfare). The direction of the reforms is analyzed together with the role multilateral agencies have been taking on in this process and the new profiles of the State, the civil society, the public policies and the market in each of those countries.

Possui graduação em Serviço Social pela UFSC (2003). Tem experiência na área de Serviço Social, com ênfase em Serviço Social do Trabalho, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: políticas públicas, reforma do estado, mercosul, política da previdência e desenvolvimento local.
