Multi-professional Residency in Health in Brazil: Some aspects of the historic trajectory

The objective of this article is to present and discuss some elements of the historic trajectory taken by the legal institution of the Multi-professional Residency in Health in Brazil. The discussion contemplates the presentation and debate about the construction of the legislation that supports the modality Multi-professional Residency in Health. It discusses integrality and inter-disciplinarity as central issues in this modality of health education. The article, based on document research, identified characteristics of this modality of education, and its recent expansion in the field of education, to prepare people to work in Brazil’s public federal Single Healthcare System.Downloads
