Observing the central hole of the house in Literature, also its registration in Toposforschung, I offer a reading of this space so present in the work Lavoura arcaica, by Raduan Nassar. For in such a way, I relate the house to the personages experiences and its around – the wood, the forest –, and establish a parallel with other books. Metaphors of the family, the values and the tradition, the designated house is space of comfort and protection, but equally of reclusion and repression, badly bigger because the house is mirror of deep and unsustainable familiar dramas, immigration and exile.Downloads
