FROM TECHNIQUE TO SENSITIVITY: A DOCUMENTARY ANALYSIS ON THE TRAINING OF THE MUSIC TEACHER

This article aims to discuss the professional training of music teachers from an undergraduate course catalog. This is a theoretical a documentary study that had as reference the concept of immaterial affective labor, as elaborated by Hardt and Negri (2001) and the catalog of a public University in the State of Paraná. As a result, it was possible to identify the spaces defined for discuss the affective dimensions in the analyzed course documents. At the end of the investigation, it can be concluded that the formation and performance of these professionals keep not only the technical preparation (practical and theoretical), but also the challenge of bringing to the school environment the sensitivity, the affection and the processes of creation, constituents of musical language.
