On reprend, dans cet article, les origines, les fondements et les fmalitésde la clinique analytique freudienne, tout en affirmant sa singularité, épistemologique et éthique à la fois, face à toutes les autres formes de
"traitement psychique". Nous avons considéré que cela se fait par la mise
en évidence progressive, bien que fondatrice, de la notion de transfert.
Les présupositions de base de l'explication freudienne du transfert, devenue concept fondamental de la psychanalyse, portent sur sa nécessaire
différenciation avec la notion de suggestibilité et sur sa compréhension
en tant que manifestations cliniques de la résistance et de la répétition.
