The metamorphosis in the productive relations has created difficulties for the public educational system, which is a by-product of the labor society. At the end of this century, workers transformed into nomads roam the global society in search of work In this sense, the crisis of the school constitutes one of themanifestations of the general movement of society, precisely the movement that leads to social transformation. We question the assumption that the critical control over the world of labor is a necessary element of the process of human emancipation. The limits of public school education reflect both the
historic frontiers of collective labor as the educational principle that
nurtures modern educational relations.
