This paper analyzes Textos Guerreros (2017), a digital literary work by Mexican author Pablo Somonte Ruano. Given that electronic literature criticism in Mexico remains an emerging field, this work represents a significant example of the growing production and circulation of electronic literature (e-lit) in the country. The study is approached from three principal perspectives: Contextual Literature, literary visualism in relation to digital platforms, and the modes of reader interaction embedded in the work. Therough these perspectives, the work reveals the text’s engagement with themes such as urban experience, walking as a narrative act, political protest, and the advocacy for free software as a means of ethical digital authorship. Furthermore, the article explores the technical, rhetorical, and poetic dimensions of the piece, highlighting its visual, digital, and interactive qualities, which position it as a paradigmatic example of aleatory poetry within contemporary electronic literature.
