Abstract

In his essay A poesia portuguesa sob o signo de saturno, João Barrento sustains the hypothesis that many Portuguese poets of the last decades of the 20th century, present a tendency for melancholy. According to this postulate we will try to identify some elements that attest the permanence of a loss feeling (and consequent melancholy) in Ernesto Manuel de Melo e Castro’s digital poetry.
