Representação, realidade e conhecimento na mídia digital-eletrônica

Na mídia eletrônico-digital, os conceitos de informação, conhecimento e representação são temas pertinentes ao Design de Informação, como campo de projetação de sistemas e interfaces inteligentes. Esses conceitos são aqui abordados para defender e justificar a mídia eletrônico-digital, seus sistemas e interfaces como campos de produção de significação e conhecimento. O conceito de signo ou de sistemas significativos decorre da conjugação de duas coisas distintas, uma porção de substância e uma ideia. O radical "forma" na palavra "informação" implica em conceito ou ideia associada. A representação digital é tipicamente simbólica, atuando por convenção e recorrendo a estratégias abstratas. Na mídia eletrônico-digital, todo sinal decorre de uma ideia ou de um conhecimento anterior, atuante no próprio sistema e impondo seu caráter significativo. Os processos de representação, simbolização e referência são cada vez mais idênticos à percepção influenciando diretamente os processos perceptivos e o conceito de realidade.Downloads
