This essay is a detailed review of Quando assim termino o nunca... (2008) of Wilton Azevedo, double work that includes a DVD with 18 videopoems (also named as interpoemas by the author) and a CD with 14 sound poems. The relations between several parts of the work are analyzed: booklet, interface/menu and an identified “playlist” (material elements for access); title, indexes, “Introducción”, “créditos”, interpoemas, sound poems and poetic texts (elements of the artistic structure in itself). A special attention is dedicated to the place of natural language, writing and litterary skills with words, as matrixes that generate the work, understanding them in the digital context and in their interactions with sound and video discourses. In this way, the poetic dimension of textual and oral language interweaves with the particulad dynamics of digital media, such as the creative delay identified by Wilton Azevedo, or the opposition between information-noise, pointed by Philippe Bootz in the foreword. Of the 18 interpoemas only a few were chosen to be appraised in depth, due to the complexity of their construction.Downloads
