Our objective with this interview with Professor Dr. Harald Thun was to bring interactively the main concepts of the theory and methodology of pluridimensional and relational dialectology created by him. Our purpose, with the interview, was to talk about topics that do not appear or appear in a very summarized way in the articles and texts written by the professor, as well as, for example, the relationship of pluridimensional and relational dialectology with traditional sociolinguistics and traditional dialectology. , the one-dimensional cartography and the ‘types’ of maps and the cross system developed by him.
