Abstract

A strong Geographical Indication certainly involves the process of forming a network of producing companies and their relationship with government and institutional entities in the region. Measuring the degree of maturity of the network is essential to assess the development of networks with Geographical Indication obtained or in the process of obtaining. The objective of this article is to present the maturity of an association of micro and small companies producing Cachaça in Santa Catarina, through a maturity model of company networks, with application in networks in the process of obtaining Geographical Indication. A comparison is made with other evaluated networks, older and more developed, highlighting the gap.
