The objective of this paper is to propose the application of the Problem Analysis and Solving Method (MASP) in the commercial sector of a metal-mechanical company to eliminate non-conformities. A case study approach was adopted, applying MASP to identify and resolve recurring issues. Initially, non-conformity records were analyzed using tools such as the Pareto Diagram and brainstorming sessions with key company personnel. Corrective actions were then implemented, including the introduction of a critical questions checklist for employees and a safeguard in the management system to prevent discrepancies. The results indicated a significant reduction in non-conformities, with a 19.74 percentage point decrease in errors related to sales intent. Standardizing the adopted measures ensured the sustainability of improvements over the long term, contributing to continuous process enhancement and increased operational efficiency. The findings conclude that applying MASP led to significant improvements, showing effectiveness in reducing non-conformities in administrative activities and providing a systematic approach to organizational challenges while promoting a culture of quality.
