This proposal of this assignment is the analysis of Transculturation process occurred between Europe and Latin America, since the Latin America settlement until the present days, in the politics, historic and social fields and their repercussion in the literature and ia the Latin American contemporary musing, considering Ángel Rama studies presented in the book A Cidade das Letras (1985).
