Abstract

Neobaroque intervention in Hispanic-American literature produces until nowadays intense polemics and discussions that go from listing its characteristics to the choice ofits representatives. In Argentinean case, it's possible to observe more and more a problem: the powerful presence of objectivists that discriminate and sentence to the past this poetry practice. Taking as a target for the polemics which was starting by Daniel Garcia Helder who in the eighties had written in 'Diario de poesía' (Poetry Diary) a series of considerations about Neobaroque, there is an intention of promoting a discussion about his readings, drawing how this controversy had been worked by Argentinean criticism in that time.
