Concierto Barroco: desdobramentos musicais

Abstract

In Concierto Barraco, the chapter "Mexico Conquest" talks about the musical representation of the theme in the center of cultural production. Such movement takes place through the interaction between word and music in relation to the plot of the book. The barroc conception articulate the historical facts with the opera and the carnival. In an opera, the voice stands out above the instruments, the concert and the carnival are there to configurate the polyphony, replacing time references, the space, physics and psiquics of the American Being.
