Reopening for new submissions

2023-11-01

Dear Scientific Community, in greeting and thanking everyone who contributes to the advancement of Administration Science, we communicate that, after a period of updating and reviewing our editorial flow, promoting improvements throughout the process, we are receiving new submissions.

We suggest carefully reading the Guidelines for Authors, before finalizing the new submission, in order to avoid rejection due to format, as well as our new bilingual publication policy.

We invite new reviewers to join the JAS team, aiming to speed up the evaluation process. To do this, we ask that you complete the registration, including your ORCID, main topics of interest and affiliated Educational Institution.

We take this opportunity to highlight the need for reviewers to meet evaluation deadlines, so that we can reduce the time between the selection of academic peers, acceptance to participate in the process and delivery of the opinion, so that it does not exceed the deadline of between six and twelve months.

We know that this period can be shorter or longer, depending on the availability of reviewers and other factors that can delay or speed up the process.

We had more than 300 articles reviewed in 2023, an altruistic task carried out by at least 700 evaluators and managed by a small but efficient editorial team, which we value and thank for their efforts.

We are firmly dedicated to the mission of building an open space for researchers, teachers, students and professionals who wish to make the results of their research on administrative topics available.

We thank you for your understanding and hope that the published articles serve as a basis for the construction and generation of new knowledge in Administration research.
