The leader’s influence in manage the process of strategic planning’s implementation.

Hospital institutions, which are more competitive, need to assume administration’s tools, one of them is strategic planning. This paper intends to study how the leader influences the manage of the strategic planning’s implementation in a public hospital institution. The research have been done based in a case study at Hospital Universitário da Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, doing semi-structuralized interviews with hospital’s leaders, trough questions guided for ends of this study. It has been noticed that the main leader’s function is to motivate and the delegation of tasks for small groups, which are responsible for specific strategy, assists in the process, due to an overloaded leadership in such a complex institution, like a hospital.Downloads
