Competences of the journalist professional in the perspective of industry 4.0

This study aims to analyze what is the competence profile of the professional journalist considered attractive in terms of employability in the context of Industry 4.0, based on the premise that technologies are impacting the labor market and requiring both companies and professionals to adapt any shape. Therefore, it was sought through a predominantly qualitative study, through semi-structured interview, application of a questionnaire and document analysis, to answer the following question: What professional skills should a journalist present in order to remain attractive in terms of employability from the perspective of Industry 4.0 ?. Competencies of Industry 4.0 were identified as analytical thinking and innovation, creativity, originality, initiative, critical thinking and analysis in specific contexts of use according to the area of ??operation. It was even possible to identify more behavioral than technical skills in professionals when considering the general skills of journalists.
