Liderança e Cultura: Tradição e Renovação da Pesquisa

Liderança e cultura são fenômenos sociais inseparáveis. Não existe liderança sem cultura. A liderança é em si uma expressão cultural e intercultural, que envolve questões e embates relacionados a líderes e seguidores nos mais variados contextos organizacionais, regionais, nacionais e internacionais. No entanto, as pesquisas sobre liderança e cultura ainda são conduzidas de forma segmentada e fragmentada, carecendo de uma sistematização. O objetivo deste artigo é levantar as diferentes vertentes de pesquisa sobre a relação entre liderança e cultura, proporcionando uma visão de conjunto sobre o campo. Em particular, este trabalho ressalta o papel da liderança no contexto da diversidade cultural e da prática cultural como importantes vetores para reflexão e produção de pesquisas futuras. Com isso, são oferecidas novas possibilidades para que os pesquisadores possam pensar e renovar a pesquisa sobre liderança e cultura.
