Abstract
this article presents new findings on the slave trade conduced from Paranaguá Bay, in the southern Brazil from 1831 to 1850. During the illegal phase of the trade, there were operations in the bay for the fitting out of slaves vessels for the transatlantc voyage and also for the landing of their human cargoes. the research on peviously unexplored judicial records such as ship protest suits highlight the slave trading conduced in that areaDownloads
