Compatibilismo pragmático-dialógico em J. S. Mill

Este artigo se propõe a apresentar e examinar o compatibilismo sustentado pelo filósofo John Stuart Mill. Apresento inicialmente a maneira usual de se defender o compatibilismo milliano, qual seja, uma concepção baseada no exercício de desejos de segunda ordem. Em seguida, defendo que o compatibilismo de Mill pode ser compreendido de modo mais produtivo se considerado como um compatibilismo de viés pragmático-dialógico.
