Sob o governo dos outros: dominação republicana e hierarquia social

O artigo analisa a concepção neorrepublicana de dominação como uma resposta possível para o que há de moralmente objetável em relações nas quais vivemos sob o poder de outras pessoas. O objetivo da análise é comparar a noção de dominação republicana, tal como concebida pelas teorias neorrepublicanas da liberdade (Skinner, Pettit e Lovett), com o que teorias igualitárias da justiça têm denominado de problema da subordinação social (Neuhouser, Kolodny e Anderson). Procura-se destacar no artigo os ganhos que a ênfase em formas injustas de subordinação social traria para a compreensão de casos injustos de governo interpessoal.
