Fotoperiodismo y software libre: fotolivre.ufsc

Informe sobre la experiencia de extensión desarrollada en el proyecto Fotolivre.ufsc, sitio hecho con software libre y el uso de la licencia Creative Commons. El objetivo principal es promover la producción de disciplinas de fotografía del Curso de Periodismo de la UFSC, en forma de banco de images. La metodología fue desarrollada primeramente côn la lectura a respecto de banco de images y software libre, además de una investigación sobre las herrami-entas gratuitas para la creación de productos fotoperiodísticos en línea y su uso. Luego, el sitio fue creado, hecho con aplicaciones gratuitas como Joomla, con la estructuración de una base de imágenes fotográficas de los estudiantes. Fotolivre.ufsc fue lanzado durante la Sepex 8 - Semana de la Enseñanza, Investigación y Extensión de la UFSC, en octubre de 2009. Lle-vado a cabo del 01/05 al 31/12/2009, el proyecto consistió en una iniciativa de interés para la comunidad en general, estimulando la producción fotoperiodística académica y el uso de soft-ware libre.
