Although stroke is the leading cause of death and disability in adults in Brazil, it is still a very neglected disease. In this sense, the National Campaign for stroke fight appears, with the aim of sending a unified message to the population, seeking consistent education for the entire public. For this purpose, questions were raised such as the global impact of the disease, its risk factors, signs and symptoms. This research aimed to describe the activities carried out from 2017 to 2019 by NUPEDES, showing actions, places visited and providing information to encourage everyone to add knowledge about this pathology. Deliveries of folders, rounds of conversations with orientations, lectures and mobilizations were made. It is estimated that the performance reached about 1,500 people of different age groups. The campaign is expected to alleviate the complications of stroke, improve the effectiveness of care and reduce risk factors.
