In the 2021-1 school semester, courses on Culture and Art for the Elderly and Culture and Art Journeys were given, aimed at people over 50 years old. The two groups were selected according to degrees of cognitive difficulties, communication difficulties, or difficulties in dealing with digital media. Objective: To share the experience reported by the participants and that of teachers, volunteers and fellows in planning, evaluation and in the relationship with the participants. Methods: Perceptions of participants and staff were collected in evaluative questionnaires accessible online. Results: Participants positively valued the experience, highlighting the expansion of knowledge and social relationships, which contributed to overcoming the isolation caused by the restrictive measures due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The team highlighted a greater understanding of the population represented in the courses and a greater degree of self-knowledge. Conclusions: The courses provided reflections considered relevant for professional and personal training and for the expansion of social participation.
