Scientific Olympics develop scientific reasoning and the stimulation of scientific research, often underused elements in Brazil's traditional high school and technical education systems. In addition, these events are essential vehicles for national and international scientific dissemination. The Brazilian Investment Olympics (OBInvest) is an educational project that aims to develop vocations, encourage high school and technical students from all over Brazil, develop Financial Education, and deepen their studies of Finance. The OBInvest tests are prepared based on the National Common Curriculum Base guidelines and are composed of two phases. The questions have texts, graphics, and videos that teach the necessary tools for application and problem-solving in the everyday context of the world of Finance. Through the YouTube channel and the OBInvest website, students can register, participate in simulations, and access courses, lectures, and other content produced by the OBInvest academic team. The first OBInvest reached all Brazil's states and the Federal District with over 4,000 registrants and 100 winners. Via the methodology of teaching finance in practice applied in carrying a knowledge olympiad, it was possible to perceive the impact of the activity on both participants from private and public schools.
