The Magneto-Resistance and the 2007 Physics Nobel Prize

Abstract

In this article we present a brief historical summary of the discovery of the Magneto-Resistance accomplished independently by two physicists; France's Albert Fert and German German Peter Grünberg. For this discovery they were awarded the Physics Nobel Prize in 2007. We also detach, the participation of the Brazilian Physicist Mário Norberto Baibich who worked in Albert Fert's team at the time of this discovery.
