SYSTEMATIC REVIEW OF THE LITERATURE ON THE RELATIONSHIPS OF INFLUENCE BETWEEN ECO-INNOVATION AND ENVIRONMENTAL STRATEGY
Main Article Content
Abstract
Goal: Environmental strategy and eco-innovation are constructs used in different approaches and can be applied in different fields of business management, guiding actions, processes, and organizational relationships. This research aimed to analyze the existing approaches to these constructs in scientific studies published in recent years.
Design/Methodology/Approach: A systematic literature review of articles indexed in the CAPES Periodicals platform was performed.
Results: It was found that most studies address the environmental strategy in a proactive sense, that is, with company actions that go beyond those legally required. As for eco-innovation, it was observed that there are still uncertainties regarding its definition and that its implementation is related to the employees of the companies.
Originality/Value: As a contribution, this study made it possible to propose a model to present the influencing relationships between eco-innovation and environmental strategy on company performance.
