MANAGEMENT OF KNONLEDGE IN INSTITUCIONAL PROJECTS POTENCIALIZED BY A COMPUTACIONAL TOOL

Abstract
Goal: Analyze the functionalities of a management tool for managing projects and tasks, allocated to students and professors at a university.
Design/Methodology/Approach: This paper considers the context of research groups at universities and identifies requirements for the development of a tool for managing projects and tasks allocated to students and teachers involved in research, thereby maintaining control over the estimated execution time of each project within the group. The identification requirements set the model for building a web portal where project managers to create their research projects and define tasks within projects. Students and teachers are allocated to tasks with assigning time for execution.
Resuls: When the deadlines are running out the coordinators and others involved receive an alert by means of e-mail, notifying you of the delivery time of the task. From the moment that the data relating to the projects and people are measured, it is possible to generate monitoring reports productivity of teams. The portal is in testing and in this work the first consideration about of the tool are listed.
Originality/Value: This tool was developed for use in research groups, but its concept can be applied in productive environments that work based on project execution and resource allocation.
