The Slutwalk (MV) is a feminist mobilization that publicly fights for the freedom and autonomy of the women and against gender violence, featuring a struggle for recognition. When the demonstrations go to the streets they receive media coverage, assigning the visibility needed to the march in order to initiate a process of political communication. In this article, it is observed how the demands of MV are framed in the news produced in the news portals G1, Folha de S. Paulo and Estado during the year 2013. The frame analysis is based on Entman's creteria (1993; 2004 ) and the  discussion of the results is based on the Nancy Fraser's three-dimensional recognition theory (2007). The results show that despite the visual performance of the MV ensure images in the newspapers, the news on it are restricted to the basic agenda, which compromises the quality of political communication and also interferes in the struggle for recognition.
